Summer is happening at Sunday River and beyond
You may have spent many winter weekends exploring the trails at Sunday River. Summer is a time to see the other side of life in the mountains and the nearby region. With the Presidential Range to the west, the Androscoggin River running through Bethel and eight peaks free of snow, the possibilities are endless. Outdoor recreation is a huge part of the region and the lifestyle.
Sunday River Real Estate's top picks:
1) Frenchman’s Hole swimming area on the Sunday River Road, past Twin Bridges
2) The panoramic views from the tee box on the 12th hole at the Sunday River Golf Course, though every hole is spectacularly set within the Mahoosuc Range
3) The front porch at Gideon Hastings in the historic village of Bethel
4) Step Falls in Grafton Notch featuring natural rock water slides and falls, ideal for young children
5) The thrill of a four-wheeler ride on the new Polaris Mules, guided by Sun Valley Sports
Winter seasonal rentals – A taste of ownership
Sunday River Real Estate is offering a new service to our customers and owners. Beginning this winter, seasonal rentals are available through our office. “Over the past couple of years, we have been receiving a number of requests and have had owners interested in this type of program. It is an ideal way for guests to have complete access to the resort, making it convenient to store mountain gear and facilitating weekend travel,” says Greg Graves, Designated Broker for Sunday River Real Estate. If you are interested in renting or are an owner wanting to participate, please contact our office.
‘Your Piece of Maine’ – And the winner is…
This past spring the Western Maine Board of Realtors held a video contest. Sunday River Real Estate agent, Callie Pecunies, and her husband Dave, took home the winning prize. The contest required participants to produce a video
that highlights why they like owning or would like to own a home in Maine. Callie and Dave have chosen Maine as their residence and were happy to share their experience with others.
And while we are it, congratulations are in order for Susan Duplessis as well. She led the Sunday River Real Estate golf team to wins at both the Bethel Rotary Club tournament held in June and the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce tournament held earlier this month. Susan is our resident golf pro and is always willing to play a round.
