Future

Since Boyne Resorts assumed ownership of Sunday River in July 2007, the mountain has been planning the future of this much-loved resort. In March 2008, the vision for Sunday River was unveiled. Through creative programming, capital improvements, partnerships with local community groups and new ownership opportunities, the Resort will continue to evolve into a four-season destination. The expanse of 10,000 acres will be planned as six experiential zones, each offering unique amenities, recreational and educational activities, and lodging, dining and residential opportunities. By staying true to our Guiding Principles and keeping our Extraordinary Qualities in mind, the team at Sunday River is already making changes to the guest experience. While a complete build-out will happen over the next 20 years or so, specific resort programming, customer service, dining and other services will broaden each season, ensuring new adventures throughout the year.
